Here are some YouTube clips my friend Damian Rodriguez and I found last night from our film Cinematic Static that we made in 1997/98.  This was a sort of experimental documentary of sorts about the skate scene in Austin, Texas which we were both a part of.  We made it partially for class credit at UT-Austin, if I remember correctly and the movie screened one time at the old Ritz on 6th Street which is now the Alamo Drafthouse.  It also had a run on Austin Public Access TV which was fun to see from time to time.  We shot this largely on Super-8mm and edited on a tape-to-tape video editing deck at the student TV station for UT.

These clips bring me back to a carefree, fun time in my life.
